Part 3
The three aspects of every speech
- Limit your subject of your talk. | Don't go too deep to get your main point across.
- Develop reserve power. | So you could theoretically go deeper if someone asks a question.
- Add illustrations and examples in your talk.
- Use concrete and familiar words to get your point across.
- Be passionate on what you are talking about.
- Be yourself. Be confident. But don't intimidate.
- Converse with your audience.
- Practice your voice to be strong and flexible. | To be heard well.

The two methods of delivering a talk
Every talk has one of four major goals.
- To persuade or get action.
- To inform
- To impress and convice
- To entertain
Start your talk by giving us the details of your example, an incident that graphically illustrates the main idea you wish to get across. Then give your point very clearly and then give the reasons why your point is better. (Or gives the listener an advantage)
- Restrict your subject to the time you have
- Arrange your ideas in sequence
- Enumerate your points as you make them
- Compare the strange with the familiar
- Win confidence by earning it. | With your skills or some other aspect.
- Get a "Yes"-response from your audience.
- Show respect and affection for your audience.
- Begin your presentation in a friendly way.

- Be always mentally ready to speak impromptu.
- Get an example immediately.
- Speak with animation in your expression and force.
- Use the principle of the here and now to your advantage.
